Quick Trip

{me and Chels on our outdoor terrace at the Palazzo}

Last Monday night, Scott and Chelsey
called us up with the idea that we should book a last minute trip to Las Vegas with them for the weekend, there were some BYU and Utah games and etc and they thought it would be fun. I had a bridal shower Saturday morning for my little brother's fiance Natalie, so we said we would meet them down there Saturday afternoon. we booked a babysitter, our flights and got a reservation at our favorite sushi spot Nobu and headed down.

It was fun to hang out with them, the girls did some shopping and I took Chelsey to the oxygen bar, I told her to she had to try cuz its like getting a 15 minute spa treatment, you get a back and head massage and it is totally relaxing.
The boys hung out at the Sports book at our hotel
and watched some games. The weather was beautiful, sunny and warm, I wished we would have had more time and could have gone to the pool.
Oh and speaking of our hotel, when Eric and I checked in, we asked to be on the 10th floor (where Scott and Chelsey's room was) but they didnt have any rooms there so they gave us a free upgrade to this huge suite, with a big outdoor courtyard that had a fireplaces and huge TV's, it was pretty sweet.

{breathing our sweet scented oxygen}

The food, as always was so great. We went to a few of our favorites but next time we decided we are going to go to all new places, there are so many great restaurants down there we shouldn't go to the same ones every time.

We visited the beautifully spring-y observatory at the Bellagio. So pretty.

The not even 24 hour trip was fun and relaxing and a great little quickie getaway. Thanks for the fun idea Scott and Chels! We love you guys!

MIke was reading your post and boy did it take him down memory lane. I started hearing all the stories about Eric, K-dog and pretty much all the guys. He remebered pileling into cabs with Eric, eating amazing food, and having a blast. Thanks for sparking some good memories for Mikey.
