New Year's Disney Cruise: Part 2

photo-204

If you missed part 1 of our Disney Cruise, you can find it here. The 2nd half of the trip was as exciting and action packed as the first.. It included..

Character breakfast with Lucy handing out kisses to all characters who came our way.
She was overcome by the spirit of Disney, I suppose.

It included Eric, me and Lucy's afternoon in Puerto Vallarta while Ady and Max attending Disney cooking school back on the ship at the Oceaneers Lab.

A rocking Pirate Dinner followed by upper deck after party with all the pirate adventure you would ask for including firework show and Mickey Mouse riding a zip line across the top of the ship.

Our first day in Cabo, one of our families favorite vacay spots.
We did the water taxis around to see the sights, feed the fish, and hit up some beach time while we ate our favorite lunch in Mexico, fish and shrimp tacos.

Day 2 in Cabo Lucy got sick so mommy stayed with her on the ship while Daddy, Ady and Max hit Lovers Beach and Pelican Beach for more fun in the sun. Then they did lunch at one of our favorite sushi spots anywhere on EARTH Niksan. They even smuggled a roll back on the ship for mommy who was sad to be missing out on her favorite sushi and her favorite beach in Cabo (Lovers Beach)

Mommy and Lucy's day on the ship sick was less exciting. I think we walked the length of the ship on every deck at least twice. Poor Lulu.

Just pushing the liquids.

That night was New Years Eve, another formal dinner night full of yummy food. (Ady ate 2 lobsters) We partied it up big time. After keeping the kids up late every night for the parties and festivities we were in bed at 9pm on New Years Eve. We had finally hit a wall.
Good thing the Disney ship does a fake midnight countdown for families earlier in the evening. None of us made it to midnight.

I guess our last day back to port I got no photos since I was fully seasick from coming back up north against the wind. I hadnt felt the boat rock hardly at all the previous 6 days but our last night coming back to LA, I felt every little thing. Bleh. Must be why I took no pics.
Here is one last pic of Lucy giving up and laying down on the ground at the airport.
It was an exhausting day, fog delayed our flight which we were already 2 hours early for an additional 3 hours. At Long Beach airport which is basically the worst airport to be stuck at for 5 hours with kids. But we made it home. Happy and safe and with loads of good memories.
Til next time Disney Wonder!

Ive said it before, on our previous Disney Cruise but Disney does it so right. They have so much going on for kids and families. And everything is geared towards making your family vacay easier.

When we docked in Puerto Vallarta we left on our first shore excursion. A swim with the dolphins.

Ady and Max were a little worried about the dolphin swim but loved it and both even did the dolphin belly ride around the pool. It was awesome.
