I cannot say enough good things about the interior designer who helped us do our new house. SHe did the entire project from top to bottom and even is still doing little things here and there to make it "HOME" for us! She highlighted some of the before and afters of our house on her design blog with pics of the house mostly finished (she did leave out a couple of rooms that she has now almost finished)

So I'm in town for a few days this weekend to tie up the loose ends on our home. While here, I'm going couch/sectional shopping. So my question to you - I noticed you had some white/ivory couches. How are those with the kiddos? Are they microfiber? I love the clean, classic look of the lighter colors, but I need something child friendly. Read me? Let me know what you've learned in your furniture buying process. I'm all ears.

WOW! Your house is AMAZING! I keep telling myself that someday, when Tim is actually a doctor (another 7-8 years) and we've paid off our huge loans (another 20 years?) I'll finally be able to decorate however I want. Sigh. That's so far away! Your home really is just so beautiful, though.

I love all the bedrooms! They look so good! PS, it is such a small world, Caitlin is actually one of the best friends of my mission companion, Ali Bolen. Ali was one of my brides maids at my wedding. I met Caitlin once, but I have heard a lot of good things about her from Ali. Such a small Mormon world.
