This morning I got the best Mothers Day present, completely by chance, both kids and Eric slept in and are still sleeping at 9am, so I am having time to give an update on our site. It is so nice. We are all doing very well since I have last written a lot has happened.
Adyson is doing so well in her swimming lessons, Eric even came to her lesson this past Friday and was impressed with her back floating, and swimming with her face in the water to the edge of the pool. She is so cute at it! Adyson is becoming such a big talker, she wants to just chat and chat all the time. A new thing she is doing that I think is so cute, if she gets, madsad or frustrated, she covers her eyes with her hands so you cant see her. But then she peeks out just to make sure you are watching, I took some pictures of her doing it this past week and i will have to post them.
Max is doing well too, he is so big and chubby, I am used to my skinny little Ady baby who at one point was in the 2nd percentile, not our little Max is in the 98th percentile for his weight, weighing in at a increidble 12 lbs. 8 oz, at his 5 week check up. That means we went from 8 lbs 2 oz, to 12lbs 8 oz. in only 5 weeks. What a chunk. He is eating very well and all the time. Sleeping, well that is another story. We just found out at his last appointment that he has acid reflux, which is causing his never ending spit ups sessions, and also his fussy tummy ache times. Unfortunately it is kind of something he will have to grow out of, so there is not a whole lot you can do. But, he is still a very sweet little one and he is even starting to smile at us. I have yet to capture it on the camera yet. he loves his baths and to cuddle, and to lay on his tummy and lift his head up to look around. He is so fun.Eric and I are also doing well, this past week was my birthday, and so we spent the Friday and Saturday with the kids up in Park City, we stayed at the Grand Summit at the Canyons. Eric and Ady went swimming and Eric even watched both the kids while I went to the spa. What a nice daddy. We had a nice time getting a way for the weekend and being together.
Today for Mothers day we are going to head up to My mom and dad’s for dinner to to celebrate me and my brother Spencer’s birthdays. Spencer is turning 19, and next week is his mission farewell then he is headed off to Mozambique, Maputo (africa) and we are going to miss him so much, especially Ady. Her and Spencer are very close, he is one of her favorite babysitters.
Anyway I am just feeling very blessed with my 2 kids that I love so much, today on Mother’s Day. I cannot believe Eric and I are going to be celebrating our 3rd anniversary this August 27th and we already have 2 kids. Our little family is going to be so little for too long. Well, i better go and be mom now, everyone is waking up. But we want to wish all the mom’s a Happy Mothers Day and Grandmothers Day, especially our moms, Stacey and Sue. And to my grandmothers Dallas and Mary Ellen, we love you!!
