Yay! Eric flew out last night and has now joined us in Ohio. His High School Reunion is this weekend so he came out to finish the week in Ohio with us. This morning it was a little rainy and overcast so we went out to Muzzy Lake to do some fishing. Muzzy Lake is a childhood memory spot for Eric. If you havent already noticed Eric had a storybook childhood. Seriously Tom Sawyer has nothing on the Kandell kids adventures. And Muzzy Lake is no exception his Grandma has a little cottage out on this cute little lake where we went fishing. The cottage is old and needs fixing up but it would be such a cool project for someone who lives out in Ohio. Trust me I would be all over it if we lived closer. It's got tons of potential.
But, anyway we took Ady out to the Lake this morning (Max stayed at home for his morning nap with G'ma) and caught a bunch of fish. It was so fun, mostly cuz we caught lots. Fishing is never fun unless your actually get something.
We brought all our catches back to the Kandell pond and dumped them in. So the kids can re-fish them out of Grandma's pond later.

Muzzy Lake!! I haven't thought about that place for a long time! We have some great memories at that place on the pontoon boat and the covered porch! The Kandalls and the Marshes truly had a storybook childhood with the day camp behind their houses and Grandma Gladys whom I adore and miss greatly! I'm so glad I found you guys! Ahhh, Muzzy lake. Haven't heard that one in a long while. Fond memories of that place, none of which involve fishing though... :) (This is Cher)!
