First Day of School

Ady started Pre-K and Max started 3 year old preschool.
Ady cried saying good bye to Daddy.
Max marched in with a big grin and waved good bye.
And mommy started working out and getting something done again.

Summer Ohio Trip 2010

{Kandell Home in Kent, Ohio}

Well I am going to say what I always say about trips to Eric's childhood home in Ohio. It's a wonderland. Beautiful green yards, ponds, donkeys, golf cart rides, swimming, exploring the woods. We love every minute.
We usually spend the 4th of July week in Kent but because Lucy was only 2 weeks old and because we knew we wanted to go out of Josh's August wedding we loved our trip this year. We were sad to miss all the other cousins who went out earlier but our kids were still loving their time in Ohio.
Since there is too much about Ohio for one blog post I'll just post the highlights.

Fishin in the pond with Daddy

Bonfire and S'mores with the Grandparents

Swimming all day

Exploring Grandma and Grandpa's amazing yard

oh and more swimming...

Relaxing under the Kandells new beautiful outdoor living area

Having Ady and Max play like they are best friends (they are)

Golf cart rides

Getting food to feed the donkeys

Josh's wedding (see previous post)

We love love love Ohio and cannot wait to go back.

Josh + Lee Ann

{Our family and Eric's parents Jim and Sue Kandell at Josh's wedding}

When we took our vacation to Ohio a couple weeks back (pics still coming) one of the main reasons was to attend the wedding of a High School friend of Eric's, Josh Armbruster. I got to meet Josh the year before Eric and I got married when I came out to Ohio for the first time over Winter break. Josh is such a great guy and is great about keeping in touch with us and with Eric since High School we knew we weren't gonna miss his special day. Even if we had to fly with 3 crazy kids across the country.

The Wedding held at Josh's church in Hartville, Ohio
Eric was one of his groomsmen

Our family with the happy couple Josh and Lee Ann

Little Lu slept through her first wedding. It was around nap time so I think we were lucky, all the kids didn't konk out sitting on the pew.

Then we attended their fun reception where go got to eat, celebrate with the happy couple and dance. It was a great day. Josh, we are so happy for you and Lee Ann. We wish you guys al the best.
