The Princess Party

(Adyson and her best cousin buddy Easton, now Ady is 3 like Easton)

Last night was Adyson's family birthday party. The last 2 years we have had one big party for all Ady's family and friends and they have been fun but SOO crazy. It's hard when so many people are there to really get to talk to everyone and enjoy the party so this year we split it up into one family BBQ and pool party then later this week we are having her "Under The Sea" friends party. Anyway, so the Princess party was really fun. Eric cooked his famous flank steak and we made yummy sides. Everyone ate, swam and hung out. It was really nice.

Here is the beautiful princess cake that was as delicious as it was pretty.

Ady with her Aunt Breanna, and her Great G'ma Hatch

The weather cooperated nicely so we were able to eat and have the whole party outside.

Ady loved having all her aunts and uncles, cousins and grandparents there.

Just as we were lighting the birthday candles for Ady's cake a little breeze came up and it would not light, we tried blocking it with towels and everything so Ady ended up blowing out the lighter after we sang to her.

Most everyone took a dip in the pool then ended up in the hot tub.

Max loved the birthday cake, he ate most of my brother Brady and his girlfriend Natalie's cake
too

From her parents, Ady got a 2 wheeler bike with training wheels.

We were so glad everyone came and we got to have some good family time to celebrate Ady's birthday. The kids loved playing together and running around with my little sisters. Breanna and Christa make the best babysitters.

Thanks everyone who came to Ady's family party, we are excited for party #2 this weeekend. Woohoo! Party week!

Bear Lake Baby!

Well, another Adventurous weekend has come and gone. This past weekend we were up in Bear Lake with 2 of our favorite families to hang out with. Garrett and Danielle White and their little girl Bailee and Nate and Erin Wathen and their little dude Beckham.
(both cute families are pictured below)
We stayed at the Wathens cabin in Bear Lake West. It was such a fun little weekend getaway.

We spent time of course, out on the lake, at the cabin relaxing and exploring the mountains. Check out this lizard we caught and Ady wanted to keep.

Ady loves the boat more and more each time we go out. I think by the time she is 10 she will be able to pull Eric around on the wakeboard!!

Ok, now in this picture below, is my smokin' hot husband Eric on the air chair, and this was not only his first time ever getting up on the air chair, it was his first attempt to even do it, EVER!! Everyone was so surprised, they said they have never seen someone get up their first try.... not that is dosen't ever happen, it's just very rare.

All the kids liked being on the back of the boat watching their daddies, surf, air chair and wakeboard. The kids loved playing together. Ady was the oldest being 3, then Bailee is 17 months, Max is 15 months and Becks is 13 months. They were all so cute together. And they were pretty good for the most part considering the heat, the bulky lifejackets and all.

Saturday night we took all the kids on a 4 wheeler ride to the top of this mountain so we could get a great view of the entire lake. It was so pretty.

When we got the the clearing at the top of the mountain, Ady wanted to pick flowers and make a pretty bouquet.

Here are the daddies on the 4 wheelers with their kids.

We also spent some time hangin out on the beach. The kids loved playin in the sand and getting all sandy.

We had tons of fun at the Wathens cabin, and out on the lake. Thanks so much for taking us! We loved all the boating, the yummy food, and sweets (danielle), the 4 wheeling, the card games etc. It was all so fun.

And the Backyard is.... FINISHED!!

And not a moment too soon,  Ady's swim Birthday party is next week. We are finally enjoying, actually LOVING having a backyard, I cannot keep the kids in the house. As soon as Max wakes up his nose is pressed up against the back door window.

(the waterfall, hot hub and kiddie pool)

This little fountain area is called a wet deck, its for the kids to run around and splash in the fountains. The texture of the concrete is rough also so there are no slips. Plus Eric makes everyone who comes over sign a liability waiver.......haha, that is not true, but I am sure some of you who know Eric might have believed that for a second.

Hopefully this will entice some of our out of town friends and family to visit. Like....um... Grandpa Jim Kandell, we have a chaise with your name on it, not literally but if thats what you need I will go hand stitch it myself.
But, we are really are so excited for all the summer backyard BBQ's and pool parties. Summer is almost half way over so we have a lot of playin to do!!
So everyone bring your kiddies over!
