Tonight Eric and I had a dinner with one of the title companies he uses who were in town, and a wedding reception to go to. So, we had my sister "the girls" as we refer to them and their friend Abbi down for a sleep-over and to babysit our kids. We figured 3 watching 2 shouldn't be too bad. When we got home tonight they were all dressed up with Adyson and making treats in her Disney Princess easy bake oven. It was so cute. Ady has been in heaven being with the girls all night. Right now she is dancing with them in the living room while they watch the tivoed "So You Think You Can Dance" finale. We love seeing her trying to be one of the big girls. And we know they take such good care of their neice and nephew.

The Best Company
Tonight we had over Eric's sister Lisa, her husband Steve, and the best cousins ever Easton and Zach.
There was watermelon...and lots of it.
There were some delicious seasoned and grilled veggies, some of them even from Lisa's garden (I am so jealous she has a awesome vegetable garden to cook from)
There were yummy honey garlic shrimp kabobs
There was lots of cousin fun in the pool
There was the debut of my new fall dark hair look (yes, I know its not fall, I got anxious)
There was popsicles and sharing of those popsicles.
There was Ady's swim suit that didnt fully "cover her subjects", and there were chocolate cover pretzels in the hot tub
There were out favorite boys... just chillin in the water
and last of all there was some brave jumping.....
and creative jumps...
Great night! Thanks Lovells!

Sweet Baby James
For my birthday back in May, Eric got my tickets to go see James Taylor (one of my favorites) at Usana Amphitheatre, so last night we went. He was so good. I love seeing him live because he sounds just like he does on his album. I mean...exactly, He is so talented.
I was hoping the whole night he would play my favorite cowboy lullaby "Sweet Baby James" and he did, I was so excited. I used to (in High School) think I wanted to name a baby boy James, just so I could sing this lullaby or maybe just play it to him. I still might have to.
Eric, I think was a little less than interested in James, or any of the songs. Can you be addicted to your I-phone??
5 mins after we got there......
and an hour later...
But, anyway, I am so glad Eric gave me those tickets as a present. It was a very nice evening.
And even thought it said right on the ticket, no videotaping, I did get a little clip so you can see just how good he sounds in person. Really, it's awesome.
