Finally, a post on our trip to St George for Easter weekend... its become a fun tradition to spend a few days leading up to Easter in St George with Eric's parents and his sister and her kids. Our kids count down the days til our Easter trip and the weather is always so much more warm and beautiful than we get in Northern Utah, so here are the highlights of the wonderful weekend in no particular order.
visits to the fountain park in downtown. Even Lucy couldn't stay out of the water...
The annual St George Art's Festival is always on the Saturday before Easter, we have made it another tradition of ours. We mainly go for the amazing food, especially Irmitas's tacos. They are heaven. You cant get better tacos on the beach in Cabo.
{Grandpa and Grandma with all their grandkids, 6 of them all under age 6.}
Every year we go we do the same things, the kids love it, face painting by the local High School kids, (you can never tell what they meant to paint) Ady always insists on getting her hair done at the Paul Mitchell booth, we get balloon animals etc.
Another must visit while we are in St George is the Modern Park, Im not sure what its real name is... but its close to our house and has the coolest modern playground there. Our kids love it.
We also take walks and scooter rides around the neighborhood almost daily
Family Dinners with Max having a meltdown... hope that part doesn't become a tradition
Hanging out in the yard at the house...
enjoying the beautiful weather and views of the red rock canyons, eating ice cream, crafts with grandma, the list goes on...
Sand Hollow Aquatic Center, less than 1 block from our house and always a good time.
and of course easter Sunday and and pics with the family outside the cute church we go to in Santa Clara {previous post}
As always it was a wonderful trip and we had a great time with family.... cannot wait to do it all again next year.
